Looking for something fun to do while you’re in town? Anakeesta in Gatlinburg is throwing a spring event called Blooms and Tunes , and this is the first year they are throwing this annual event! Keep reading to find out what you can expect at Blooms and Tunes at Anakeesta in Gatlinburg.
What to Expect
At Blooms and Tunes, you will find all kinds of amazing things to do and see. There are larger-than-life art installations, including a 20-foot-long daisy. A local art installation company called Brainchild Creative made these amazing sculptures you will see all around Anakeesta. In addition to amazing art installations, there are several plants in bloom during this time of the year. The Vista Gardens and landscaping all throughout Anakeesta in Gatlinburg will be bursting with flowers for you to enjoy.
In addition to seeing beautiful gardens and installations, you can enjoy live music during this event. From Thursdays to Sundays, there is live music every day. These bands play bluegrass and country music. People of all ages will enjoy listening to the artists perform.
Blooms and Tunes also provides guests with the opportunity to try delicious foods and drinks. The four dining venues will have speciality cocktails that will make you feel like it’s definitely springtime. Some of the food you can try includes Bleu Ridge Ribeye, the Creole Burger, and Smoky Mountain Short Ribs.
Additional Information
Blooms and Tunes is running from April until the end of May. You don’t have to pay anything extra to visit during this time because the event is included in regular admission to the adventure park.

Ride the Mountain Coaster
For an additional fee, you can ride the mountain coaster at Anakeesta! You’ll be able to control your speed and enjoy amazing views of the mountains and forest as you ride along the track.
Anavista Tower
At the Anavista Tower, you can see miles away in every direction at the top of this observation tower. This is the tallest point in downtown Gatlinburg, and on a clear day, you can see Kentucky!
Treetop Skywalk
Take a walk through the trees on Treetop Skywalk! These rope bridges are connected with trees, and people of all ages love walking through to explore the Smokies and watch zipliners rush by overhead.
Dueling Ziplines
Another fun activity you should try is the Dueling Ziplines. These ziplines run parallel down the mountainside, and you’ll love racing through the trees to get your adrenaline going!
Treeventure Course
Kids of all ages will love going through the Treeventure Challenge Course. This adventure course has three levels of challenges for kids to get through.
Shopping
There are several shops all throughout Anakeesta where you can pick up a souvenir or two. Grab a t-shirt, stuffed animal, book, or other item to bring home to remind you of your trip to the Smokies!
