This year, 4 new attractions in Pigeon Forge TN made their debut.
1. Drop Line at Dollywood
It’s always cool to see what new rides are coming to Dollywood. This year, Drop Line made its debut at the popular Smokies amusement park. The ride lifts guests more than 20 stories above Dollywood’s Timber Canyon! As it goes up, the ride’s gondola slowly spins around the tower giving riders a panoramic view of the Great Smoky Mountains. Thrill-seekers will love the anticipation of the drop. It’s a ride you’ll want to experience over and over again for the thrills and the view.
2. TailSpin Racer at Dollywood’s Splash Country
Thrill rides that involve water are especially fun! That’s why TailSpin Racer at Dollywood’s Splash Country has been a hit since it opened this summer. Experience the twists, turns, and thrills as you drop five stories on this racing water slide. The ride features six racing lanes, so you can show your competitive side and see who gets to the bottom first. The tight turns and daring drops of this enclosed water slide make it one of the best attractions in Pigeon Forge TN.
3. Mission: Mars at The Escape Game
Have you ever wondered what it would be like as an astronaut exploring space? Now is your chance to find out with the new Mission: Mars quest at The Escape Game! The mission begins when your team lands on the red planet, but trouble arises when you discover your spacecraft has experienced damage. You have exactly 60 minutes to repair your ship and make your way back to planet Earth. This new quest will challenge you and your friends to think both logically and creatively. The experience will take 1 hour to complete and you can have 2-8 players total. Next time you are at The Escape Game, check out Mission: Mars for a totally out-of-this-world experience.
4. Whistle Punk Chaser at Dollywood
This ride is a junior coaster, so it’s great for kids that want to start small and work their way up to the bigger roller coasters. Whistle Punk Chaser at Dollywood is kind of like a mini Thunderhead. It features the same twists and turns just on a smaller scale. If you ride this coaster you won’t have to worry about going upside down which can be a good way to prepare yourself for the more high thrill rides. So grab your young logger and get ready for some fun!
