One of the most popular events that takes place annually in Pigeon Forge is the Shades of the Past classic car show. Held around the Labor Day holiday, the 2014 edition will take place September 5-6. Shades of the Past Location
Shades of the Past is located in the parking lot of Dolly’s Splash Country which is just off the Parkway in Pigeon Forge. The spacious parking lot allows for more room as spectators and collectors wander around, taking in all of the classic cars. Dolly’s Splash Country is closed for the season, so those attending the Shades of the Past car show won’t be competing with the traffic of Splash Country visitors.

Parking Information for the Shades of the Past Car Show
For those who are planning on attending Shades of the Past here is information on parking:
The first option is to park in the Pigeon Forge parking lot off of Teaster Lane. Parking in this lot is free of charge. Trolley service is provided from this lot at a cost of .50 cents per person each way.
A second option is to park on Veterans Boulevard in the marked lots. This parking area is also free of charge. From this lot a bus service will be provided to shuttle patrons to and from the event at no charge.
A final option is to park in the Dollywood parking lot in parking lot “F??? at a cost of $10 per car/per day. A tram service is being offered from this lot to the event at no extra charge.
